OPEN LETTER TO ALL BEARS: Just curious as to when you will establish a position on the long side. Many have been waiting for firming DRAM prices. We have seen evidence of this though it is largely a function of plant shutdowns and not a new equilibrium. In this area, the problem will persist for awhile. many of the Bears have also been waiting for plant closures. We have seen a number of thee also with the Siemems plant being the latest. Many were waiting for additional layoffs to signal an acknowledgement by the company that things are indeed terrible right now. We got this yesterday, though it came as a surprise to many. My question in essence, is why are the Bears still clamoring for more. They have gotten everything on their laundry list yet are still not satisfied. BTW, I hear many Bears say they want to wait for a rosier picture before commiting to the long side, at which point, it will already be reflected in the stock. Most of the Bears think they can have the former w/o the latter being true. BK OT aki, Hope you abandoned your OXHP and SLB when they were in the upper teens and upper 60's, respectively.
