Tim, Any comments on big increase in short position this month. Is it related to arbitration related activity.

The following companies had the largest
increase in short interest: Washington
Mutual Inc., up 6,671,314 shares to
43,812,153; Ascend Communications Inc., up
5,507,043 shares to 23,471,717; (THESE are a lot of shares to cover, especially with present volume of 3-4 million days.

Tellabs Inc.,
up 4,006,222 shares to 29,935,979; Jefferson
Smurfit Corp., up 3,347,655 shares to
4,527,960 and L.M. Ericsson ADR, up
2,604,672 to 5,853,054.
