No, and this is why:

The "flaws" people are attacking are personal. They go to whether or not he is a bad man, not a bad president (that makes me think of The Wizard of Oz, where Dorothy says "you're a very bad man!" and the wizard says, "no, I'm a very good man; I'm a very bad wizard.")

Newt's "flaws" were actually criminal and unethical public acts. He was punished for them publicly as he should have been. By the way, did he ever even pay the fine he was charged?
