To answer:
First, don't wanna be right, just wanna make money. The 2 don;t always jive.
Second, of course you can short in Canada, but I don;t think you can short on an uptick bid but a downtick last print, like on NAZDAQ.
Third, not sure whether retail guys like us getting excited on an NR will take the price up right now. As for sales, they might not be spectacular as long as the CEO is part time and the staff is small. A market launch should be done by experts in market launches - what's the track record of the current group? Just asking for your thoughts, don't attck me or i won't ask.
