I really can't guess what the volume will be, since I tend to buy and
hold: with occasional raids into the options store when they have a
sale on.

Bottom line: since I don't use volume in my trading decisions at all,
I don't watch it, and can't hazard an opinion.

However, here is a 3-year chart showing volume. You can adjust it
yourself to see more detailed data.

By visual examination, I would say that volume has actually dropped
since the last split. No doubt due to those insane DELLheads like
that guy on SI, Kemble Whatsisname, who just continue to accumulate.
<vbg> Actually, I think that is a reason, combined with the continued
share buy back.
