Don, one of the advantages of being a major is that you have the resources to fart around with and go visit other mining ventures to see what they have. Sure they might be interested as also Homestake or a few others down in Chile. BUT define INTERESTED. If I win the Powerball, and Gary, and Kevin, and Jim O decide to take a trip to Chile and walk on the properties, does that necessarily mean we will buy the properties. No, we are just kicking the tires so to speak. Nemont/Homestake/??? have kicked the tires and have probably said, if you can prove up what you have then we would like to JV this property with you, or we would like to buy out your property. Remember this, there are only a few properties that are being concentrated on at this time. Do you think we will see big bucks for the whole shooting match. I don't think so. Why would a major buy all of our props when they could be buying just a lot dirt and air. A major is going to need hard core data to justify spending big dollars. For instance: Buyout...70MM * $3 = 210,000,000 dollars 70MM * $5 = 350,000,000 dollars 70MM * $7 = 490,000,000 dollars.
So business heads who do you think would offer this kind of money on three properties. Who would buy the whole shooting match site unseen and unproven. Who has this kind of money????? We may see a JV soon if they can prove the Puange & Los Marios and the Placer, but we are lightyears away from proving up anything else and selling the package...just my opinion...MOO!!!!!!!!!
