Paul... I didn't intend to imply that I thought Japan would have a big impact on our markets. Their present situation has been discounted. There would be a big US fallout in the unlikely event of some kind of Japanese meltdown. As far as the short term market direction, your guess is (literally) as good as mine. You were smarter quicker than me about small caps. I got rid of most of mine but not as soon as I should have. They say capitulation is a sign of a market bottom, and lots of folks have capitulated on small caps, so maybe that's a sign that a turn is near. I'm usually to be found on the CSCO and SAP threads. Lately I haven't been able to resist the temptation of the cat fight going on in the Clinton thread. I enjoy reading your posts too.
