chat CIEN. Does anybody have a view on CIEN? By all accounts the deal with TLAB is not dead, but to be renegotiated at a price north of the ratio suggested by current prices - which is about .6. Additionally, CIEN's technology reportedly would be attractive to others - CSCO is the current rumor. Conclusion - CIEN looks to be a very interesting speculation, but the street doesn't agree, and the street is usually right. Opinions, anybody? Tom
