There are many on this board more qualified than I to answer your questions regarding TC2000 but I'll give it a shot. Couple ways you can go. One is the $29 deal you reference where daily updates cost
ninety-nine cents as I recall. Historical data for stocks not in your database costs extra. The better choice if you have a large db is to go the CD-ROM route. Software costs about $200 and unlimited updates run $1.95/day. The CD automatically corrects for splits, dividends, name changes and the like. There is no charge to run scans with either program and the software does a pretty good job with basic TA. Some of the folks here have become adept at writing rather sosphisticated scans. I personally prefer Technifilter Plus for that purpose.
