William Beaumont Hospital, Fourth Largest Hospital System in The U.S., Signs Agreement With Advanced Health Technologies

Hospital Laboratories' Member to Participate
Advanced Health Corporation (Nasdaq: ADVH), through its subsidiary Advanced Health Technologies (AHT), said today that William Beaumont Hospital is the first Joint Venture Hospital Laboratories (JVHL) member to participate in AHT's Preferred Vendor Program. The JVHL agreement was announced by AHT last week. William Beaumont is the fourth busiest hospital system in the nation and the largest in the state of Michigan for inpatient admissions. The 1,118 bed facility operates two hospitals in Royal Oak and Troy, Michigan, and possesses one of the nation's largest outreach networks with over 1,200 physicians. The hospital has licensed Advanced Health's software applications to expand its physician outreach program.
As part of the preferred vendor agreement with JVHL, Advanced Health's Web Browser Dr. Chart(tm) and Medicare Compliance(tm) software products have the potential to be licensed to eight more member hospital systems representing 26 additional hospitals. In becoming the first JVHL member hospital to sign up under this arrangement, William Beaumont Hospital will now have the capability to selectively transmit laboratory utilization data to the JVHL repository and meet its increasingly sophisticated needs for order entry automation and Medicare compliance.

This technology, in conjunction with the Company's Clinical Data Exchange(tm) (CDX(tm)) integration product, enables a physician to view a patient's clinical results rapidly and accurately regardless of which lab or facility produces the report. Furthermore, this technology allows a physician to generate laboratory and diagnostic procedure orders from his or her office.
