Scott,
I disagreed with your opinion that '$24 million cash is very bullish' and gave several reasons why. You, however, have never given any reason other than it is at an all time high (which IMO I refuted). I didn't mean to get on a soapbox. I consider myself a 'numbers guy' and I was hoping I could make you, the 'concept guy', see that it is not very bullish. Long story short - I agree to disagree.
<Brent to use the share price as a benchmark against the technology and patent strength is a bit confusing. You know that they are not always a clear indicator of true values.>
Find me a brokerage firm that will value my account on technology and patents, I want to switch all my accounts to them. All my current accounts are valued on share price, stupid me!
I hate to go here again, but ... It is not about patents and technology and revolutionizing industries and eliminating hazardous waste and having the best product. Over the long term, it is about earnings. Period.
I know your come back will be - 'but those patents will be money makers in the future.' But, Presstek hasn't proven they can make enough money from those patents to justify the current price. That is why it goes down.
<You cling to the past and I look to the future. That reminds me of trying to drive a car by looking at the rear view mirror.>
Scott, come on now, that is plain stupid. You know I look at the future. It just comforts you to say that, because when I look at the future I see a different picture than you.
