Gary, I still need help with the csco product line. Very basic stuff like what is a router, is it an assembled product, when you buy one, is it custom configured like a Dell pc- and how does the sw get installed on one of these things? Can you refer me to a very simple document that explains what these comm hardware things are. I want to evaluate the types of economies of scale possible with supply chain mgmt at Cisco and other networking hardware vendors.
