Maybe I should rephrase, when I say Celeron300+ and Xeon are important, I mean strategically. Celeron300+ is to fend off competition and Xeon to increase margin. The added products also create multiple targets and it is advantagous to Intel which has more resources (hard for competition to create pricing pressure on all fronts).

PII is going to be above Celeron and it is no less important to Intel. If you want an Intel system above 333, you will get a PII. The overclock market is small IMHO. In the future, if competitive needs require Intel to have a 400Mhz Celeron, it will be there and PII freq will have to move up.
