In Russia "blue chips" are selling at a price close to earnings. Ficticious earnings, that is. ROS sports a P/E of 1.5... Yeltsin is finished politically, and may have to step down within the next 48 hours. Chernomyrdin will try to deal with Russia's economic krisis by printing money. The resulting hyperinflation will render the ruble worthless, further impoverish the populace, and undermine the economic reform.
