Underwriter's supporting stock? One thought was that the huge volume at the end of the day was shorting. But there was no uptick, so that can't be it. My theory is that MMs are rushing in to support the stock price at the original IPO level. Evidence for this position would be heavy buying today by BT Alex Brown and others. Can anybody post today's trading action as a funciton of MM? DocStone
