AUGUST 26, 1998Thunderbird's Fiesta Casino Opens in Panama SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA--International Thunderbird Gaming Corporation (TSE and VSE - INB) is pleased to announce that its completely renovated Casino (Thunderbird's Fiesta Casino) located within the Hotel Soloy in Panama City, Panama opened for business at midnight on the 25th of August, 1998. The Casino is operating with 98 gaming machines and four gaming tables. Back in January, 1998, the Company announced that the Government of Panama awarded the Company with an Administrative Contract to own and operate four Full Casinos in the country of Panama. The Company plans on opening its second of four Casinos (located at the El Panama Hotel) next week, with the remaining two Casinos (one located at the Hotel Nacional in David and one located at the Hotel Washington in Colon) opening in September of 1998.
