I agree....

This is an absolutely horrible contagin in the semi industry but the sad part is, I think it is going to really get worse....each time we ratchet down buyers rush in saying "this is the bottom" a "turn is coming". J Morgan said it well that the sub $1000 PC is really hurting them along with the Asian decline and now what seems like a world decline....

I hate to say it but right now you have to be a fool to fight the tape...And as much as I hate to say it SVGI and others companies could still fall another 40% during htis time...What I see happening is exactly like in the 80s with Citibank....we're not there yet...when we are, even the analysts will have thrown in the towel.

If the likes of Applied are still laying off people I wouldnt be surprised if Papken reduced his troops yet again....I have a feeling they will really miss their number...Does anyone think that Latin America may buckle big time next? It's only a matter of time before the US gets hit....we're a world economy and there's no way to hide from ths hurricane. I think we will easily be testing October Lows across the board and when I look at my calendar I still see October is only a couple of months away....deja vu?
