Something else that has been bothering me about all the chip companies is the new chip IBM has coming out. The one that uses glass and is suppose to be ten times better than any other chip out there. Can anyone comment. If IBM licenses this technology out it could be a great revolution in the chip market because everyone will want to upgrade to this better technology. However, somehow I get the feeling that everyone else will get shut out and the only big winner will be IBM. Does anyone have any thoughts?

This LSI situation is now getting very painfull, although I can't see it going much lower. If they were losing money I think the stock would trade down to book value. As long as they are making money there will be a small premium. The two things that will turn LSI around are a new attitude towards Semi's and growing earnings. Nothing else really matters.
