My comments were aimed more at Tom's comment about needing a really new chip. I hope I didn't imply that PTSC was going to try to compete with them.

I'll go you one closer than handhelds. I can envision, and I may explore mounting a bunch of them in a box with an old 486 (or whatever) hanging on ethernet with Jini. I really do have an application, already written in both Forth, c, and Java that needs that chip bigtime.

Just bought a wad of ptsc this evening (that is, will buy sometime tomorrow morning:-)
