One would have to believe that the recent drop in MIFGY is a result of weakness in both London and Nasdaq (note price declines in CHRZ, ALYD, CACI etc in computer services/Y2K companies) rather than any connection to deal not going through. Deal does look as it is going to get done. We are in both ISLI and MIFGY, and if you have confidence in deal getting done, buying ISLI is the way to create MIFGY at a discount. If it doesn't get through, ISLI goes back to where it was or below, while MIFGY might rally as arbitrage positions get reversed. I didn't know ISLI before the deal was announced but this combo looks great.
