To all: The June truth is finally upon us and SW can finally lay his suspicions to rest as being false.

The Co was going to buy a major L.D Co and sell 3 bil of the assets of to BA. BTY was then going to but 2.5 bil of the stock at 65 as previously rumored but the COB nixed it in favor of the AT&T deal which then sent BA off to GTE. It woild have been a great party but it didn't work.

What it does show is the value that this CO has and I firmly believe that many Co's are still looking at WCII as we speak.

Now that many Co's have increased their market caps to multiples of last year they can now look at aquiring a WCII for 3-5 bil when when they are worth 50-100 bil and not piss of the shareholders. This CO is still for sell contrary to L's beliefs and is entertaining decent proposals that will increase shareholder value.

I can't give you the timing but there will be a party somewhere south of the continent next year that we should all be able to attend.

Steve B's advice is very good re jan 2000 35's but not if you are on margin below 50%. Better rerun the #'s .

Downside is still possible to 24.5 on my charts but I doubt it will stay there. You could by insurance in puts but be ready to sell them quickly as news may be pending. Shorts are not the problem but margin calls are so you must try to live through them.

The CLEC industry is down in general so protect the downside. It should turn soon, Hopefully!
