M., I think Furman Selz' analyst picked up the wrong conclusion re ASND and he/she got it by misreading the Dell'Oro report mentioned previously (see biz.yahoo.com ) Ascend's high profit items are in the Remote Access Concentrator sales, the very area Dell'Oro reports is growning very substantially. The "at the margins" products are of less importance to Ascend,in my understanding. ASND went down today in concert w/ other drops in the high tech area but if this analyst's report factored into the drop then wiser heads will prevail and this will represent a good buying opportunity while the sheep dump their shares.
