Drew and chuz - the problem is, el was asking for a clarification about cpq's claim of 3 1/2 weeks of inventory, which is channel inventory. Message 5597918 It does not matter to me whether the internal inventory calculation is correct or not - it's simply unresponsive to the question without clarification (which I trust this exchange has now produced in excruciating detail). But here's some math I hope we can agree on. In December of 97, Dell was 15% of my portfolio. It is now approaching 50% - and I have not bought any Dell since December. I'm being converted to a Dell-head by default. I guess I should sell some to bring my portfolio in balance... Congratulations to all on another day of moderate gains, Dell-style!
