Dear Zeev - you sez "14300 is also the Maginot line, if it crash through there, a lot of discombabulation in the banking system could happen. You got to believe that MOF will do whatever they can or is possible to defend the line."
While it is to the japanese govt self-interest to do so, I am a bit - ok, quite a lot <g> - disappointed in the japanese govt foot dragging. Considering its indecision/inability to lead the SE Asian economy out of a slump, and thus jeopardizing its long term prospect as the leader [both global and regional,] it is highly questionable that MoF [and the japanese govt in general] has the ability to defend anything, let alone the maginot line. Since its *new* govt [or, like the rock 'n roll song would say, "the new boss is just like to old boss" <g>] has covertly refused to play ball with the US - and the world community in general, if I may assert - it will receive little sympathy from others. Others may still try to help out for their own self interest, the problem will be a standalone defense is much less effective than a concerted one.
Just my 2c <g>
best, Bosco |
