Rwandan ministers threatens that they may have to intervene in the DRC. At the same time they stress that it is a "political" problem that needs another solution.
The Hutu militia has been more active in Rwanda lately. I don't think that Rwanda will challenge the troops and air force of the alliance. Uganda will not form a steady partnership with Rwanda in this case. Their basic interests is of different sort.
Pockets of soldiers on the western front may delay the eastern offensive but after a week or two the solution on the eastern front will be obvious: Negotiations and some kind of Bosnian solution (in reality ethnic groups moving to safe places rather than historically "correct" places). This is more of a continuation of the Rwandan war some years ago than a rebellion because of the leadership of any gov in Kinshasa.

Gunnar
