Ted, The numbers on Jan25 calls last listed were not at the close as indicated. The closing volume on the Jan 25 calls was 6455 on monday and open interest of 10315. I found these two places on the internet. Not believing this I called my broker and he said yes the numbers were correct. (within a few) I have found volume figures to be somewhat conflicting on the net. Anyway, there has to be some reason for the purchase of these calls. I do have the March calls and been watching WCOM for quite some time. You are correct, the earnings will not be out by the time the Jan calls expire. Keep me posted with what you know. Craig.
