Regal is "Top News" in Reuters. canoe.ca Wednesday, August 26, 1998 Regal finds gold in Cape Breton SYDNEY, N.S. (CP) -- A Toronto-based mining company has found traces of gold during test drilling in Cape Breton. Regal Goldfields said Wednesday it discovered fine grains of visible gold in one of nine holes it sank in the Cheticamp Highlands. Regal said the find is important because it shows the potential for significant tonnage, if economic grade minerals can be located.
