Dear Jane:
I feel this topic was instituted by the Holy Spirit because of this precious child Amelia, whom we have never met but by whom we deeply are moved by her plight.
We are also instructed to bear one anothers burdens. There are some things that REALLY require us to unify ourselves in one accord, and this is one of those times.
We all love our children so much and to see this child come under a serious disease like this at such a young age moves me to passion.
I will be honest with you; it moves me to so much passion I have a tendency to lose my direction because my emotions begin to rule. Emotions bring about those imaginations that I must cast down.
Therefore , I know the Holy Spirit wants me to continue praying for this child but I must go about it in the way that I feel I will be the most effective, and the same for you and others.
I am going to offer up very simple prayers and stick to the basics.
Lord, please heal Amelia by your stripes. Father,comfort her and give her health as we offer her up to you. Father,let health overcome her as you cradle her in your loving, healing arms. Christ has already paid the price for her healing, and you have stated that as we look at Christ upon the cross we shall be healed of all of our diseases, just as those that looked upon the serpent lifted up in the wilderness did not die. By your stripes she is healthy and happy, returning to her normal activities, all in Jesus name. Amen. |
