My motto is: When a client questions a bill it is better to just knock off a few bucks (preferred client discount) than to argue. Question lawyer invoices ?...... Not me, I simply put them to their proper use.... toilet paper. I always send them a [used] sample in return, enclosing the [adjusted] fair payment. For some reason, I never get a complaint. My apologies for getting gross, but the subject matter demanded it. No need to send me a bill for reading this... as you do not have to (read it, that is). Z. p.s. Judge: A law student that marks his/her own papers.
