the real question is where does it end. We are clearly part of the way through a bear market for small and mid caps. Today looks like a very very very ugly day. No one wants to buy anything, evryone wants to sell. There may be a small run for the doors. We have been devalued 50%, so we may have seen the worst. If we take a big time hit in the djia and nas, it may finally bring back the buyers. We need a signal that the selling and uncertainty is over, and that these phenomenon are behaind us. Until then, we continue to be at risk. To my thinking, these world phenomenon should be driving money to us markets, but we are overvalued by some standards. Our economy, however, is still strong. I hope a 5% or so further correction will stabilize us, but watch out for program trading, etc.
