Hi guys, I've been away from this thread for a while but have been focusing a lot on emerging markets. The last few days there has begun to me serious talk about Russia moving to a quasi-gold standard and allowing private ownership of gold. Today a Russian banking association opined that such a move could generate 270 tons in demand. I saw this come over Reuters and thought you might be interested.
