Convergys Announces Agreement With Comcast to Provide Billing and Subscriber Management for Cable Services
CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 27, 1998--Convergys announces an agreement with Comcast Corporation [Nasdaq:CMCSA - news] under which Convergys will license its CableMaster(TM) Billing and Subscriber Management solution. Comcast, the nation's fourth largest multiple system operator, will use the real-time solution to support its cable television services in addition to other related offerings.
Under the five-year agreement, Comcast will implement the Convergys CableMaster 2000 solution in 17 additional markets. These combined markets serve more than one million subscribers.
