I admire Druck for having some integrity in not answering unanswerable questions. But did CNBC learn anything....they're asking guests one after another about the future direction of the Dow.

Here are some absolutely meaningless phrases used to fill time on CNBC:

"The bulls and the bears are battling it out on the floor"

--yeah, and what else is new?

"If the market keeps this momentum up, we could hit new highs"

--brilliant.

"The Dow dropped 20 points today on ...(fill in the blank)"

--no it didn't. Noone can say why the Dow goes up or down on statistically insignificant variations (unless one or two stocks does a serious tank for obvious reasons).
