Walt,

I'm trying to visualize the dyke (Visualize World Peace
...Visualize Whirrled Peas!) and I'm struck by this language:

"The dyke appears to have a
strike length of at least 800 metres and a down-dip extension on at least
one section of 1.8km."

Does that mean that it's possible that the dyke is kind of
honeycombed or odd shaped, maybe like this (pardon the art work):

___________
!
800m n-s !
!_____________
!
________!

_____!

1800 meters down dip

If it's anything like that, the total tonnage could be a lot less than
the number you get by just multiplying the 1.8 km by the 800 meters.
However, I guess things are open in 3 directions.
