SEDONA--(BIDNESS WIRE)--Aug. 27, 1998--FBN Associates (NAZDAQ: FBNA) today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Double Zero (00) is teaming up with the World Wide Web to provide a Y2K compliancy online area for all WWW members.

Located on the World Wide Web, members can easily access the area by using keyword "double zero". It is estimated that 90% of the computers manufactured prior to 1997 are not compliant and the World Wide Web area provides members with a simple 1-2-3 process to ensure that their PC is Y2K compliant.

First, members will be able to receive a free diagnosis of their PC to learn whether it is Y2K compliant, and then will be offered the opportunity to immediately purchase and download the Double Zero Kit to ensure their PC's conformity. After the program is installed it will review all files to determine which software is not Y2K compliant. The price of the Double Zero Compliance Kit is $49.95.

The partnership also includes a revenue sharing component based on World Wide Web's promotion of the 00 online area.

The core business of FBN Associates will remain its Y2K Software well into 2000. The Company is diversifying with additional software and expanding its Internet content division.
