I'm long on LU - they are sufficiently diversified across a broad array of communications technologies such that if the Asian wireless market hiccups, US demand for FO, switching, etc., helps to carry them.
I'm especially bullish on their new voice processing technology, which I think has to be a key to computing for the next century. They may have beaten MSFT to the punch on this.
I can't see them stumbling unless they make a bad acquisition come October, so IMO, at this point, get in, but be ready to hang on. When the market turns up in general, LU should go with it nicely, and if the right acquisitions are made, it should react VERY positively.
Just my thoughts (and maybe making myself feel better about my LU holdings!)
