Mark, Don't like your current tone. One I've heard before. I'm not a psychologist, but to pursue without wavering, one's loved vocation, is the source of true happiness. Seems I can talk as I seem to have the best of both worlds. Love the family, auto racing, and business/stocks. It is near impossible for me to engage in all three successfully so auto racing is on hold. Business/stocks take up 2/3 of my waking hours as this takes care of the family. I have purposely chosen to "partition" my life. Work and trade like mad now, and the family gets me 100% 6 years hence (millionare or not). The question may come down to the "morality" of trading as applied to wether or not one should do it full-time as opposed to "actually building something" doing something else. I don't think time frame devalues short-term trading in anyway. Hope you find a happy balance. I think what you know in TA is worth enough to financially supplement your trading.
