The Dow Theory only predicts direction, not how far we go in it, so the new 52-week low in the DJTA is a negative but I don't think you can extrapolate anything more than that from it. The volume today was the second-highest ever after Oct. 28, so it would not surprise me to see a washout and intraday reversal tomorrow.
