Joe, Well either I am completely insane or I am smart. I think this was it. You will hear in the morning (I pray) that "over night the Russian market stabalized as the Russian government announced a solid long-term solution to the countries economic woes". If that happens I will be incredibly rich in like 4 hours ;-) As for getting back into COMS my orders (which both filled) looked like this: BUY COMS 27.50 1000shrs BUY COMS 27.00 1000shrs So I will either make a killing of get killed. In addition my plan of only putting 25-40% back in went out the window. I loaded up on some AMD at the close. (A LOT of AMD at the close). I also picked some NSM and QNTM. I _MUST_ be insane. OTOH if you figure that the most buying occured in the high-tech sector the last month (thus the 2.4% rise in the whatchamacallit) and people will eventually see this I should do allright. But I am real nervous about the AMD and NSM.. I will watch those like hawks. RE: Also, I reread the Chatman COMS reit. It says, ''We expect a few more days of overall market weakness, followed by a broad-based rally after Labor Day.'' I think they may have a point. I think this was as much weakness as the international governments can stomach. The will jump in if it gets real bad to bail out russia... Russia doesn't worry me at all. Any worse and they will get "Saved" by us. Re: But, to get to COMS == 24 would mean the DOW drops another 500 pts, IMO. It will have to get really nasty. What do you think? I think you are insane if you think the DOW will fall another 500 pts and COMS gets to 24. Can't see it happening. Steve
