I need some advice on a problem I have, and I'd appreciate some knowledgable input from anyone who can help.
My problem is that I have lost a lot of money by not knowing when to cut my losses.
Does anyone have a system that you use to stop the bleeding on a particular play?
For instance, right now I have a lot of money coming in from naked calls that are losing value rapidly, but, I'm losing the profit just as fast on the short puts that are becoming very expensive.
One short put loss is equivalent to roughly 3 or 4 naked call winners, so I'm really hurting myself by not cutting the losses.
I'm sure many people can relate to this problem, so maybe we can develop a system to stop that from happening.
I sure hope so, and thanks for any input.

Ron
