First, my concern about the laserbrush was that it would take the business of bleaching out of the hands of the DDS and put it in the hands of the patient directly just by using laserbrush. As a dentist, who derives income on bleaching procedures, this was a cause for concern. Certainly as a DDS I don't want to lose income, but also as a shareholder, I was cincerned that DDS'S would not look too favorably on a company that was taking $ out of their pockets. That could also have an affect on sales ot he Millenium "Laser". He explained to me, that the laserbrush is intended as an adjunct to those who have had their teeth bleached. True it will lighten teeth somewhat of the coffee drinker, but to get the best result, have the DDS bleach teeth , then use this. Also, they will be offering incentives for the DDS to dispense it in the office. As a DDSD it sounds great. But best of all is the LASER. While he could not tell me when and if approval would come because of SEC laws(and he urged me not to ask), he seemed very enthuiastic about it and the prospects for the company. I don't remember his exact words, but like Clinton, he seemed to be saying something without actually and legally saying it.
My take on it is that it wont be long now.... Let's hope I was reading him correctly.
Also a week doesn't go by that a patient doesn't ask about lasers. The market is here.
