Hi all,

I had to dip my toes into the hot water today. I could not resist some of the bargain prices that were available in some of my favorites.

I was able to get a few more APCO Jan 7.5 calls at 1 1/2 and 1 11/16 + the common at 7 1/2 =). In addition, I have been monitoring IFCI closely. It is in a slight downtrend compared to the overall small cap carnage in the market. IFCI dropped below $7 and I had to jump on it at 6 7/8. It is possible IFCI could fall a little more to near $6. I have some more cash in reserve to buy there if I can.

Bottom line for me ...... APCO and IFCI are currently two of the most fundamentally sound small cap companies in the marketplace. Both are being unfairly beaten, have no global exposure, are growing a very high rates and institutions are increasing their stakes in these companies.

IMO ...... once the carnage is over, I would expect these two companies to lead in the small cap arena.
