Had to let you know that I closed my short ORCL call position
this morning with the stock trading at 42. Also added 500 shares
to my MSFT position on the opening bell (76.5/share).

Incidentally, if you're interested in an aggressive trading
play, the ORCL Jan/98 leaps are "cheap" (considering how
overvalued the market is, that is), with the 40s looking
particularly attractive. Risky, but you could win big in a
month or so if/when the stock jumps back to the mid/high 40s.

Of course, the stock may struggle or fall out of favor, as
SUNW has. And there's the added risk that the oft-forecast
"big correction" finally comes while you're holding the bag.
Still, my crystal ball suggests that's likely some ways off
just yet; January should be a good month for quality
techs, I expect.

We're on holiday as of 8 a.m. tomorrow when a big silver bird
carries us to distant parts. (Alas, flying steerage this
time.) Might drop in tonight for one last S.I. "fix".

Cheers!
