Good evening Lisa! As long as you are explaining some basic things,could you explain the difference between the Globex sp500 and the cash S&P500 index?What I mean is that the cash index closed at1042.59 and the Globex is quoted now at1040 and it says it is up 400(I take it to mean 4 points)My question is --are the globex sp500 the futures contracts and if so, did they close below the cash today?Also,where can I find the link for quotes on the futures? I am finding out more and more how little I know of the markets.
