>gun lobby: relentlessly works toward one aim, to enhance the profitability of selling guns. Hence, no controls of any kind will ever be allowed by them. How many women's lives have been devastated by this blind worship of such a deadly phallic symbol?<

And just yesterday I thought it was wallace who said (correctly) that the holocaust responsibility was solely on the shoulders of those who perpetrated it--the Nazis, and *Not* Neville Chamberlain, who only wanted to appease Hitler. But with the case of the "gun lobby", wallace places the blame on them for "devastating" the lives of women.

Hey wallace: the blame for a murder lies soley on the shoulders of the murderer: Not on the axe, knife, car, or any other instrument capable of maiming a person - no, not even an arrow, a bullet, or an abortionist's vacuum.

wallace, do you also blame the devastation of the bombings at the World Trade Center, the Oklahoma City Federal Building, and the two US Embassies in Africa on the fuel-oil and fertilizer lobby????

The idea is to keep guns out of the hands of children and criminals -- as for everyone else -- use 'em but don't abuse 'em, and keep that safety on until you're seconds from pulling the trigger.

People murder other people, wallace. Let's keep the blame and responsibility where it belongs.
