SC,
IMO, the bottom would be reached when the neighbor and everybody else's mother sells. I don't see any panic yet. All I hear is Russia, which the US has a small exposure to. Now what will happen when the US for its own earning problems will turn sower? Interest rates are low, OK, but most big item purchases, IMO, comes from capital gains. If the market closes lower tomorrow (or with a small gain), then weekend gossip can cater the shorts on Monday. People are talking... (Hamptons, whatever).
Hope you have a nice weekend,
Marty

Japan recovered half its loss (low of 13792.76) to close at 14147, down 266.39, or 1.85%, on Friday. We'll see what happens to the DOW tomorrow. ...and the fun never ends.
