Citrix has been around for a few years. It's main selling point is the fact that it will let you take an application that is designed to run on a PC and lets you run it on a server (right now I believe it is only WIN NT but that could change) The advantage to this design is that now you have centralized management over the application instead of having it distributed to many desktops. This technology is somewhat of a bandaid solution since if the application were designed to run on a server to begin with you wouldn't need Citrix. As far as impacting Exceed, I don't believe it has a major impact other than that it is part of the general trend towards diversification in the enterprise whereby a lot of applications that may have once been based on Unix X Windows can now be redesigned to run on a PC or NT server. In most cases when this happens there is still some part of the application that resides on UNIX, so users and/or developers may still need Exceed to get from their PC to UNIX to access the part of the application that is still UNIX based.
