mmm, Scott, you've provided a somewhat reasoned post and I'll reply accordingly - as someone who holds stock I have had some losses of late, which puts me in with vast legions of people.

I hold nothing against Pink's analytical abilities; I see much more Machiavelian motivations in using those abilities to purposes which I think are illegal at worst and morally questionable at best.

I do my DD and I do not fall in love with stocks; I find the fundamentals exceedingly important and when they no longer meet my criteria I sell. I have traded MRVC numerous times since I first bought well over a year ago as part of my strategy to take profits and/or to lower my cost, but I believe it's a stock worth holding for the long term (more than 6 months), and until something changes the fundamentals I'll hold that view.

I have an equal position in Ascend for the same reason. I have as large a loss in that stock as I have in MRVC - and no one says that BS about ASND yet the losses are the same and the prospects are fairly close to the same, IMO. You may disagree with my opinion and that's fine.

As Willy Sutton said in response to a question as to why he robbed banks, "that's where the money is!" I came here to challenge Pink because that's where the mouth is.
