Dear Gary,
I agree with you that Lucent would be stupid to change their name, however, I was simply relaying the information I received, hence "thread."
However, it is my understanding that ever since Lucent was founded that there has been a negative connotation with the company name, i.e., Lucent the Lucifer, Lucent breeds the devil, I agree sounds really ridiculous, but who knows.
I have read many of your threads, and will continue to do so, thank you for your feedback. As for my reference to the only postings I read, you were the "Gary" mentioned (although you post under gbh).
