Opal, Call XOMA and Ask! Very Strange-Could Be Investigative Company hired by another company to gauge how desperate shareholders are to get out at any price. Someone may think they could buy XOMA at no or very little premium to current stck price--say a bizzare offer at $2 1/2 a share. Reminds me of the Somatix Ther SOMA give-away of two years ago. I hope this is not the case but am suspious.
